About The Position

The Patient Coordinator is one of the first points of contact for patients and helps create a positive experience from check-in through check-out. The role supports the front desk with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This is a PRN/per-diem role providing staffing coverage as needed, with flexibility to pick up shifts based on availability and center needs. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available. The outpatient imaging center operates seven days a week until 9:00 PM and is located in Farmington, Connecticut.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; required to be competitive.
• Friendly, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration and scheduling.
• Verify insurance.
• Handle phone calls and other daily patient needs.
• Support front-desk operations and help provide a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
