About The Position

As a Patient Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients and help create a positive experience from check-in through check-out. You will support the front desk by assisting with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs. This PRN opportunity is for as-needed staffing coverage in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment, with flexibility to pick up shifts based on your availability and center needs. Shifts may be available at either of Heartland Imaging’s outpatient imaging centers in Louisville, Kentucky: 7807 Shelbyville Road or 5227 Dixie Highway.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required to be competitive.
• Friendly, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration and front-desk needs.
• Schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance.
• Handle phone calls and other daily patient needs.
• Help create a positive patient experience from check-in through check-out.
