About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a vital member of the collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The role assists patients with daily needs, including vital signs, mobility, and personal care, and supports nurses in monitoring patient conditions and carrying out care plans. Through attentiveness, empathy, and teamwork, the PCT helps promote patient comfort and dignity.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• No experience required.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to support safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
