About The Position

Medical City Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient care and the operation of its ambulatory surgery center. The role provides safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. It also supports operating room turnover, sterile processing, and inventory and supply maintenance. The position upholds HCA Healthcare’s mission to care for and improve human life.

Requirements

One year of patient care assistance experience in a nursing or environmental services environment.
Valid BCLS certification upon employment; online certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the transfer, positioning, and transport of patients.
Assist with turning over operating rooms between cases.
Perform terminal cleaning of the surgical area.
Maintain sufficient supply levels and keep equipment and supplies clean and orderly.
Answer phones.
Assist with computer data entry.
