About The Position

Open positions are available across inpatient units, including Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU, and ICU. The Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated direct and indirect patient-care tasks that support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The assistant performs designated activities limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel, including helping patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask under stressful situations.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage relationships with interdisciplinary members while maintaining patient- and family-centeredness, safety, timeliness, efficiency, and equity.
• BLS certification must be successfully completed before the first day in patient care; the certification is included in the orientation program.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Keyboard experience preferred.

Responsibilities
