PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Patient Ambassador at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Patient Ambassador is the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for an assigned unit and is primarily responsible for completing patient interviews and new-admission visits. The position pays $21.00 to $24.00 per hour and follows a Monday-through-Thursday schedule with hours that may vary; further schedule details are provided during the interview. The role supports patient and client satisfaction, promotes the Patient Experience Program, and helps tailor programs and satisfaction action plans to each account's needs. It also includes supporting employee relations and innovation, recognizing successful employee contributions, and completing or following up on housekeeping tasks when requested. The position requires previous hospitality experience and knowledge of office procedures, contract administration, and fiscal and budgetary skills.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures and contract administration.
- Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives.
- Fiscal and budgetary skills.

Responsibilities
- Conduct new-admission visits to assigned units within the timeframe established by unit and patient experience leadership.
- Ensure employees demonstrate a strong hospitality and respect orientation toward customers and clients.
- Support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention.
- Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program.
- Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs.
- Assist in developing or monitoring a department or unit patient-satisfaction action plan and report to clients as needed.
- Assist with effective employee relations programs at the unit site.
- Encourage employee creativity and innovation.
- Recognize employees when programs are implemented successfully.
- Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients.
- Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure tasks are followed up on and completed promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
