PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Patient Ambassador at Carroll Medical Center in Westminster, Maryland. The Patient Ambassador serves as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for an assigned unit and is primarily responsible for completing patient interviews and new-admission visits. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, with hours that may vary. The pay range is $19.00 to $24.00 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services exclusively to the healthcare industry. The role supports patient experience and account satisfaction by promoting the Patient Experience Program, helping tailor programs to account needs, and assisting with patient satisfaction action plans. It also involves employee relations and recognition, resolving housekeeping issues, and completing housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures and contract administration.
- Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives.
- Fiscal and budgetary skills.

- Prior customer service experience, including customer relations and complaint resolution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new-admission visits on assigned units within the timeframe established by unit and patient experience leadership.
- Promote an appropriate hospitality and respect orientation toward customers and clients among employees.
- Support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention.
- Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program.
- Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs.
- Assist in developing or monitoring department or unit patient satisfaction action plans and report to clients as needed.
- Assist with effective employee relations programs at the unit site.
- Encourage employee creativity and innovation.
- Recognize employees when programs are implemented successfully.
- Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients.
- Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure follow-up tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
