About The Position

Acrisure is seeking a Claims Advocate to provide insurance claims support and build customer relationships through a high level of service. The role supports client growth by providing advisory services, contributes to continuous process improvement, and proactively works toward agency and team goals. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Requirements

Comfort working in an electronic environment and strong computer skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent people skills and ability to maintain professionalism in a team hybrid environment.
Strong organizational skills.
High school graduate.
Three years of customer service experience preferred.
Life, Accident & Health (LAH) license preferred, or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

File claims with carriers, confirm claim set-up, and provide clients with initial claim information while maintaining proper internal documentation.
Promote and educate clients on direct reporting of claims to their carrier.
Respond promptly and professionally to client and team calls, emails, inquiries, and requests.
Participate in internal team meetings about developing client claim concerns and help create resolution plans.
Communicate proactively between clients and insurance carriers.
Generate claim status reports and claim data for client meetings or when requested by the service team.
Participate in delivering claim updates and reviews for clients as assigned.
Help create and update claim deliverables.
Facilitate claim resolution for clients.
Complete high-level claim and reserve reviews.
Analyze claims before unit stat filing and provide the client team with summaries of open claims.
Assist in creating new client resource tools.
