About The Position

Cottage Health seeks a Patient Access Registrar for its CH Patient Access department. The role works directly with patients, clinical staff, and other Cottage Health employees to provide information and resolve issues relating to patient accounts. As the first impression for patients arriving for services, the Patient Access Registrar helps create a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an office, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• Basic skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Keyboarding or typing speed of 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

• College associate’s degree or higher.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office software, including PowerPoint and Access.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
