About The Position

Cottage Health seeks a Patient Access Registrar in the CH Patient Access department. The role works directly with patients, clinical staff, and other Cottage Health employees to provide information and resolve issues relating to patient accounts. As the first impression for patients arriving for services, the registrar is responsible for creating a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an office, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• Basic Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.
• Keyboarding/typing speed of 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

• College Associate’s degree or higher.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint and Access.
• 2 years of related work experience in a healthcare environment, with a working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and resolve issues relating to patient accounts in coordination with patients, clinical staff, and other Cottage Health employees.
• Create a positive patient experience for patients arriving for services.
