About The Position
The Patient Access Professional - Patient Registration welcomes patients with kindness and courtesy and provides information, guidance, and hospitality to patients and their families during their visit to Valley View Hospital. The role calls for a strong commitment to anticipating and exceeding guest expectations and delivering the highest level of customer service. The position requires someone who can work under direction and use their own initiative. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Previous experience in insurance verification, patient registration, collections, or billing.
- Courteous and patient when dealing with the public, with exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Well-organized, dependable, and flexible.
- Must be a team player.
- Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
