About The Position

The Sullivan Family Kitchen (SFK) is responsible for creating high-quality, ready-to-eat products distributed across SFOC locations statewide. As a Pastry Baker, you will be a key member of our kitchen operations, requiring a positive attitude and expertise in pastry techniques. This role involves physical demands, including lifting 30-50 lbs. and standing for extended periods. We are looking for a team player passionate about creating delicious pastries to join our culinary team.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance is mandatory.
  • Adherence to all company policies and requirements is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous baking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Pastry/Baking techniques in food preparation.
  • Accurately measure ingredients using specialized equipment.
  • Manage and oversee large batch production, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold cleanliness and organization in the Pastry Team.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to enhance our pastry offerings.
