About The Position

The Sullivan Family Kitchen (SFK) is responsible for creating high-quality, ready-to-eat products distributed across SFOC locations statewide. As a Pastry Baker, you will be a key member of our kitchen operations, requiring a positive attitude and expertise in pastry techniques. This role involves physical demands, including lifting 30-50 lbs. and standing for extended periods. We are looking for a team player passionate about creating delicious pastries to join our culinary team.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance is mandatory.
- Adherence to all company policies and requirements is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Previous baking experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Pastry/Baking techniques in food preparation.
- Accurately measure ingredients using specialized equipment.
- Manage and oversee large batch production, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the team to uphold cleanliness and organization in the Pastry Team.
- Contribute ideas and expertise to enhance our pastry offerings.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude within the kitchen environment.
