About The Position

Huntleigh USA is hiring a full-time Passenger Service Attendant at Bradley International Airport. The role helps passengers who need additional assistance travel through the airport safely and comfortably, including elderly passengers and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance. Attendants provide courteous customer service, coordinate with airline personnel and other team members, follow airport security and safety procedures, and complete service records and other documentation. Training is provided; prior passenger service experience is not required. When trained and assigned, employees may also assist with catering security inspections for Flying Food Group.

Available shifts are 2:00 AM–10:00 AM, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, and 4:00 PM–1:00 AM. Schedules and shifts may change based on business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and overtime may be available based on business needs. Starting pay is $16.94 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Dependable and professional, with a commitment to excellent passenger service.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully complete required fingerprinting, background screening, and applicable security requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Prior passenger service or catering inspection experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with special needs, including elderly passengers and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance.
• Transport passengers between airline ticket counters, departure gates, arrival gates, baggage claim, and curbside pickup.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service throughout each passenger’s journey.
• Coordinate passenger assistance with airline personnel, dispatchers, gate agents, and other team members.
• Follow airport security procedures and established safety guidelines.
• Monitor passenger safety and report incidents or unusual situations to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete required service records and other assigned documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• When trained and assigned, assist with catering security inspections for Flying Food Group.
