About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is an independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative with 20 locations in the United States and Canada. The Parts Sales Representative provides customer service and parts support from the San Antonio, Texas office, including identifying replacement and warranty parts, tracking orders, maintaining inventory, and shipping parts. The role works with the Parts Department’s Outside Salesman to support multiple product lines represented by HTS Central Texas.

Requirements

• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, construction, or the parts industry.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Windows 7 Professional and Outlook.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Parts Department’s Outside Salesman to support multiple product lines represented by HTS Central Texas.
• Use mechanical comprehension of HVAC systems to identify solutions for customers’ replacement-parts and equipment needs.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships by meeting customer expectations.
• Assist customers with identifying parts, providing quotes, and processing orders to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Fulfill sales orders, including placing orders with manufacturers, tracking shipments, and invoicing processed orders.
• Maintain warehouse and showroom inventory accuracy.
• Stock the warehouse and Parts Department showroom with parts and supplies.
• Inform customers about manufacturer updates and bulletins.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of freight for Parts Department supplies and equipment.
• Administer parts warranties for manufacturers.
• Execute freight claims for damaged goods.
