About The Position

The Parts Sales Representative provides outstanding customer service from HTS Engineering Ltd.'s San Antonio, Texas office. The role supports the Parts Department across multiple product lines, working with an Outside Salesman to help customers with replacement parts and equipment needs. Responsibilities include identifying replacement and warranty parts, quoting and processing orders, tracking shipments, invoicing, inventory control, and shipping. The position also coordinates freight, handles warranty administration and freight claims, and maintains warehouse and showroom inventory.

Requirements

Experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; construction; or the parts industry.
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Windows 7 Professional and Outlook.
Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work with the Parts Department Outside Salesman to support multiple product lines represented by HTS Central Texas.
Use mechanical comprehension of HVAC systems to identify solutions for customers' replacement parts and equipment needs.
Establish and maintain good customer relationships by meeting customer expectations.
Assist customers with identifying parts, provide quotes, and process orders to support customer satisfaction.
Fulfill sales orders, including placing orders with manufacturers, tracking shipments, and invoicing processed orders.
Maintain accurate warehouse and showroom inventory.
Stock the warehouse and Parts Department showroom with parts and supplies.
Inform customers about updates and bulletins supplied by manufacturers.
Coordinate shipping and receiving of freight for Parts Department supplies and equipment.
Administer parts warranties for all manufacturers.
Execute freight claims for damaged goods.
