About the position
We are seeking an exceptional Parts & Goods In Specialist to join our team at Cazoo. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, validating, and issuing all goods inwards, including pre-ordered parts, paint, and workshop consumables. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a hands-on attitude, and a data-driven mindset. Your main focus will be on improving efficiency, reducing operating costs, and increasing productivity.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving, validating, and issuing all goods inwards including pre-ordered parts, paint, and workshop consumables
- Receive goods into stores and record electronic data and administrative paperwork
- Monitor parts supply and expected arrival dates, record and report to line manager
- Arrange sub-contract repairs with suppliers as necessary
- Create and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers
- Liaise with and support the logistics team to control vehicle movements into refurbishment areas
- Ensure all pre-workshop loading areas are always well stocked
- Maintain a tidy and professional working environment with a special emphasis on health and safety and ISO compliance
- Strong planning, organization, and administration skills
