About the position
We are seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our team at Cazoo. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard. The successful candidate will have significant experience in vehicle diagnosis and repair, as well as a full driving license. The job is full-time, with a 554 shift pattern, and a competitive salary plus benefits. The selection process involves an initial chat with the recruitment team, followed by competency-based interviews with stakeholders and the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostic, repair, service and maintain vehicles to a good quality standard as specified by the manufacturers or warranty requirements
- Advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with the Preparation Manager
- Carry out the company inspection process, noting all areas requiring repair or service
- Communicate with internal teams and departments where necessary
- Repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process
- Ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment
- Provide complex diagnostics to a wide variety of vehicles
- Ensure workstations and preparation areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly service and repair targets are met
Requirements
- Significant vehicle diagnosis and repair experience
- Full Driving Licence required
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work fast and efficiently
