About The Position

We are looking for a Parts Advisor to support continued growth and provide customers with exceptional service. This role oversees parts sales from start to finish, serves retail and wholesale customers, and supports internal service and body shop operations. The position offers potential earnings of $55K plus.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Parts experience in a dealership setting.
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Toyota dealership parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Communicate effectively and efficiently about customer parts status.
Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and discussing specific parts.
Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information to retail and wholesale customers.
Review body shop estimates to verify that ordered parts are correct and pricing aligns with the estimate.
Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
Pull and fill orders from stock and perform weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy.
Notify the parts manager about out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders when necessary.
Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
