About The Position

The Parts Counterperson pulls and fills orders for shipment, delivery, and pickup; contacts outside vendors for emergency out-of-stock needs; and communicates with customers about price quotes, payment processing, and credit authorization. The role also reviews body shop estimates for correct parts and pricing, ensures internal parts requests are properly billed, maintains weekly bin checks for stock accuracy, and notifies management when parts or shop materials require immediate attention. Compensation is $17 per hour plus commission. Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check and review of motor vehicle records.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check and review of motor vehicle records as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
