This role is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with automotive parts needs, ensuring accurate ordering, timely fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dealership environment, familiarity with BMW parts systems, and the ability to work efficiently using dealership management software such as CDK.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive parts experience required; dealership experience preferred
  • BMW or luxury automotive brand experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with CDK or similar dealership management systems
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts selection, pricing, and availability
  • Support service technicians by sourcing and supplying accurate parts in a timely manner
  • Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control
  • Utilize CDK (Dealer Management System) to manage transactions, inventory, and orders
  • Ensure proper documentation and invoicing for all parts sales
  • Maintain an organized and clean parts counter and storage area
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and customers
  • Stay up to date on BMW parts, accessories, and product changes
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding department sales goals
