About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate helps customers purchase automotive parts and accessories while creating an exceptional buying experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. The role serves both retail guests and technicians, supports parts sales, and helps maintain an organized and welcoming parts department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist technicians and retail guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail guests in a timely manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and record the information in the appropriate documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Keep the parts department clean and orderly.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.
