About The Position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate works with customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide them through purchasing a vehicle in AutoNation’s no-haggle sales environment. The role involves responding promptly to leads, answering questions, providing information, and helping customers move from initial phone or internet contact to an in-store experience.

The Sales Associate helps customers select a vehicle, discusses terms and payment options that fit their needs and budgets, and closes sales. Associates provide an exceptional experience before and after purchase, follow up to support customer satisfaction and loyalty, and help transition customers to the Service department. The position offers a stated pay range of $5,000 to $10,000 per month and opportunities for career paths into finance, management, and beyond.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities
