About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate assists automotive technicians and retail customers with purchasing automotive parts and accessories. The role focuses on providing a friendly, timely, and exceptional buying experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. The associate also supports inventory organization, department cleanliness, merchandising, and sales growth. Success is measured by achieving parts sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• Three or more years as an automotive parts professional.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and courteously assist technicians and retail customers.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the appropriate pricing source and record the information in the proper documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts department.
• Provide customers with needed information and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets.
• Achieve customer satisfaction targets.
