About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Parts Assistant for its rental facility in El Paso, Texas. The role manages parts inventory, handles orders, and coordinates with vendors to ensure necessary components are available for rental equipment. It also involves maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and supporting internal service departments and external customers.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime pay is offered after 40 hours, and the role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation. The position includes picking up and delivering local parts and requires owning applicable tools. Employment is contingent on passing a background check; this safety-sensitive position also requires passing a 10-panel drug screen.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active applicable state driver's license.
• Clean driving record, as the position involves picking up and delivering local parts.
• Knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets.
• Previous or current experience with budgeting.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Must own tools applicable to the position.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen for this safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds or more, prolonged standing and walking, bending and stooping, manual dexterity, and repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise parts inventory, purchasing, and invoicing.
• Answer customer questions about parts availability and fulfill parts orders.
• Obtain and prepare parts quotes for customers or internal teams.
• Order and manage parts inventory for rental equipment.
• Coordinate parts inventory from manufacturers and communicate with vendors regarding company- and customer-owned equipment.
• Confirm invoice accuracy.
• Coordinate with service departments and delivery schedules.
• Pick up and deliver local parts.
