About The Position
The Parts Assistant supports collision repair operations by receiving, checking, inspecting, tracking, and coordinating parts deliveries and invoices. The role ensures parts are matched to repair orders, accounted for on parts carts, and that incorrect or damaged items are addressed with vendors.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Receive delivered parts and match them to repair orders.
- Ensure all parts are placed on and accounted for on the parts cart.
- Inspect delivered parts for damage upon delivery.
- Return incorrect parts to the vendor immediately.
- Communicate regularly with vendors about parts status.
- Ensure parts invoices are posted in the company’s estimating platform and make corrections as necessary.
