About The Position

Genesis of Las Vegas is hiring a Parts Advisor to provide customer service and support parts operations for the Service Department. The role includes assisting customers and vendors, coordinating parts for vehicle repair and service, ordering and receiving parts, maintaining inventory, processing payments and returns, and keeping the work area organized. The position offers a commission pay plan and a flexible schedule with one weekday off and all Sundays off. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in the automotive field.
Understand basic automotive components and systems.
Have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls and greet customers and vendors.
Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns.
