About The Position

Hill Country Honda is hiring Parts Advisors to provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service. The role works with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repairs and service, and handles ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and returning parts. This is an on-site position in San Antonio, Texas, reporting to the Parts Manager. Hill Country Honda is part of the Lithia & Driveway family of more than 300 dealerships.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive dealership service experience.
• Automotive certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephone calls and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean work area and stockroom.
• Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as needed.
