About The Position

Kia of Covington Pike is hiring a Parts Advisor to support dealership operations and customer demand. The role serves customers and vendors, coordinates parts with the Service Team, orders and receives inventory, and handles invoicing, payments, returns, and warranty processing. Compensation is base pay plus commission. The schedule requires open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The position requires a high school graduate or equivalent, age 18 or older, a valid driver's license in the employee's state of residence, and an acceptable driving record. Requirements

• Ability to perform calculations involving inventory, payments, and invoices.
• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
• Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in person, or email.
• Answer customer questions, check stock availability, and take parts orders in accordance with the Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.
• Maintain a clean, professional counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service with the Service Team.
• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas.
• Check the quantity and condition of received goods against invoices and purchase orders, and verify item numbers, unit costs, and billing totals against records.
• Specify parts accurately.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as needed.
