About The Position

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Corpus Christi is seeking a customer-focused Parts Advisor to support customers, vendors, and the service team. The role handles parts inquiries and orders, inventory receipt and storage, and accurate invoicing. The position offers commission-based pay and a flexible schedule with one weekday off and Sundays off. Previous parts advisor experience, automotive parts knowledge, and automotive dealership service experience are required. Requirements

Knowledge of basic automotive components and systems.
Automotive dealership service experience.

Mathematical ability to calculate inventory, payments, and invoices.
Knowledge of automotive parts.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
High school graduation or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls and greet customers professionally in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, in person, and email.
Answer customer questions, check parts availability, and take parts orders.
Keep the counter, work area, and stockroom clean and organized.
Coordinate parts for vehicle repairs and service with the Service Team.
Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
Create accurate invoices in ADP.
Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate areas.
Verify the quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders, and check item counts, unit costs, and total billing against records.
