About The Position

Hill Country Honda is hiring Parts Advisors to provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is based on-site in San Antonio, Texas, and reports to the Parts Manager. Parts Advisors work with the Service Team, customers, vendors, and suppliers to coordinate, order, receive, store, and track parts. The dealership is part of Lithia & Driveway, a family of more than 300 dealerships.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive dealership service experience.
• Automotive certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephone calls and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean work area and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service with the Service Team.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate areas so they are available when needed.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as needed.
