About The Position

Suburban Ford of Waterford is hiring an experienced Parts Advisor for its high-volume automotive dealership. The position supports customers and dealership departments by identifying and supplying automotive parts, coordinating orders, maintaining inventory, and processing transactions. The role requires open availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Parts Advisor reports to the Parts Manager. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent and at least 18 years old. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in automotive parts, retail, inventory, or customer service.
Knowledge of automotive parts and basic vehicle systems.
Experience with parts catalogs, inventory systems, or dealership software.
Strong order-entry, invoicing, and documentation accuracy.
At least 1 year of experience receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and respond to parts inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Identify parts needs, check availability, and process customer and service department orders.
Coordinate with Service Technicians and Advisors to provide parts for vehicle repairs.
Order parts from suppliers and confirm pricing, quantities, and availability.
Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts and inventory.
Create accurate invoices, process payments, and maintain parts records.
Process parts returns, core returns, and warranty-related transactions.
Maintain an organized parts counter, stockroom, and inventory area.
