About The Position
SE Smith & Sons, a long-standing, family-owned truck and trailer repair shop, is hiring a Parts Advisor/Driver to help keep the shop running smoothly. The role involves picking up and delivering parts, checking orders and paperwork, maintaining the company vehicle and shop cleanliness, communicating with technicians, and ordering parts from vendors. The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule and the opportunity to grow within the company.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Friendly, professional attitude with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off parts accurately and carefully.
- Double-check orders, part numbers, and paperwork.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and safe.
- Support the shop team with small tasks when needed.
- Communicate clearly with technicians about delivery timing.
- Call vendors and order parts.
- Maintain shop cleanliness.
