About The Position

Réseau Fix is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their Human Resources team at their Blainville headquarters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of action, advising managers, and working on diverse HR files where their expertise makes a real difference. As an HRBP, you will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, supporting them in various areas including employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, health and safety, accommodations and leaves, compliance, and employee experience. You will also contribute to the deployment of HR programs and initiatives and actively participate in the continuous improvement of HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; an AEC in Human Resources combined with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, ideally in a generalist, HR advisor, or HR business partner role.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, disciplinary measures, and workplace investigations.
  • Good knowledge of labor standards and employment legislation.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written, is required as the position provides HR support to managers and employees located in different Canadian provinces.
  • Good judgment and ability to manage HR files independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with employees, managers, and management members.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office and ease with HR systems.

Nice To Haves

  • CRHA/CHRP designation or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Experience with multiple Canadian provinces.
  • Experience in health and safety management.
  • Recruitment experience.
  • Knowledge of the Rippling HR system.

Responsibilities

  • Advise managers on daily HR issues: performance, attendance, disciplinary measures, conflicts, and employee situations.
  • Support managers in difficult conversations, PIPs, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Manage accommodation, leave, and return-to-work files.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure necessary follow-ups.
  • Coordinate health and safety activities for Canadian establishments.
  • Support the management of incidents, accidents, work refusals, and other H&S files.
  • Monitor mandatory training and compliance requirements.
  • Track legislative changes that may impact HR practices.
  • Participate in psychosocial risk prevention and updating HR policies.
  • Participate in the deployment of HR programs: performance, recognition, policies, compliance, and other initiatives.
  • Take charge of HR orientation and support the integration of new employees.
  • Participate in initiatives related to engagement, recognition, and employee experience.
  • Develop and update HR tools and resources for employees and managers.
  • Respond to HR requests from employees and managers.
  • Support organizational changes, acquisitions, and employee transitions.
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team when necessary.
  • Participate in the development of HR tools for the franchisee network.
  • Identify ways to simplify and improve HR processes.
  • Support the use of HR systems, particularly Rippling.
