About The Position
This role is responsible for executing the craftsmanship strategy in partnership with the Lead Tailor or Manager of the Tailor Shop. The Part-Time Tailor will perform basic alteration services such as hemming, patching, repairing, and tapering. They will also partner with the Lead Tailor and Manager on additional projects as needed, exemplify strong customer service skills to enhance client experience, and articulate all services offered by the Tailor Shop. Additionally, this role involves educating and training store teams on customer offerings and services, acting as a Brand Ambassador.
Requirements
- Working understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
- Basic understanding of textiles and fabrics.
- Skilled in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.
- Detail and design oriented.
Responsibilities
- Execute craftsmanship strategy in partnership with Lead Tailor or Manager of Tailor Shop.
- Executes and responsible for basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming, patch and repair, tapering, etc.).
- Ability to partner with the Lead Tailor and Manager of Tailor Shop on additional projects when needed.
- Exemplify and possess strong customer service skills to elevate our clients experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to articulate and carry out all services of the Tailor Shop.
- Educate and train store teams on customer offerings and services – Brand Ambassador.
