About The Position

The purpose of this part-time position is to enhance and elevate the customer experience by carrying out the custom tailor shop’s direction in Levi’s retail locations. The role supports sales and brand loyalty through basic alteration services and apparel enhancement.

The Tailor partners with the Store Manager to execute the craftsmanship strategy, provides excellent customer service, and acts as a Brand Ambassador. The role also includes educating and training store teams on customer offerings and services.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a denim tailor or a similar apparel technical background.
• Thorough understanding of the denim industry and current and upcoming trends.
• Knowledge of textiles and fabrics.
• Proven skills in sewing, tailoring, embroidery, and textile repair.
• Detail- and design-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Formal training in apparel design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to execute the craftsmanship strategy.
• Perform basic alteration services, including hemming, patching and repair, and tapering.
• Provide excellent customer service to elevate the client experience.
