The role involves household organization, maintenance, errands, meal support, laundry, pet care, vehicle upkeep, family support, deep cleaning, and vendor oversight.

Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain upon employment).
  • Fragrance-free preference.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform daily resets, including dishes and surface cleaning.
  • Experience with household organization and systems.
  • Proficiency in managing inventory and running supply lists.
  • Ability to place and manage online orders.
  • Experience with meal preparation, including component prep and batch cooking.
  • Knowledge of laundry management, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing.
  • Experience with pet care, including grooming coordination and medication administration.
  • Ability to schedule and facilitate vehicle maintenance.
  • Willingness to provide occasional childcare and family support.
  • Capability to perform deep cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily household resets including dishes, cleaning surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas.
  • Maintain and improve existing household organizational systems.
  • Identify and implement household efficiencies.
  • Manage seasonal kids' clothing swaps and closet inventory.
  • Coordinate donation drop-offs and assist with purging rooms.
  • Support event, holiday, and guest preparation.
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel.
  • Care for indoor plants and perform basic maintenance like changing batteries and light bulbs.
  • Clean and maintain air purifiers.
  • Manage pantry, fridge, and household supply restocking.
  • Maintain running household supply lists and place/manage household orders.
  • Handle returns, dry cleaning, and package sorting.
  • Prep 2-3 dinners per week and batch cook 2-3 breakfast items weekly.
  • Prepare lunch items and snacks, accommodating a dairy-free household.
  • Manage kitchen cleanup and maintenance related to meal support.
  • Keep laundry moving: wash, dry, fold, and organize, including hang drying parents' clothing.
  • Rotate linens and towels weekly and remake beds.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area.
  • Coordinate pet grooming drop-off/pickup and administer pet medications.
  • Manage pet supply ordering and inventory.
  • Schedule and facilitate family vehicle maintenance.
  • Perform light cleaning and organizing of the family vehicle.
  • Provide occasional child pickup/drop-off and light backup childcare, including date nights.
  • Perform occasional targeted deep cleans (refrigerator, oven, baseboards).
  • Keep mudroom and kitchen counters organized and functional.
  • Undertake ongoing organizational projects, including purging and refreshing rooms.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for vendors and contractors.
  • Relay relevant information and updates to the family regarding vendors and property.
  • Assist with seasonal outdoor furniture and garage resets.
