Parking Ambassador

About The Position

The Parking Ambassador is the first impression guests have of the resort and creates an inviting, organized, and efficient arrival experience. The role focuses on guest service and providing information and directions to Sundance guests. This is a part-time, seasonal, hourly position with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Use of a two-way radio.
Valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing, as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
Regularly lift and/or move 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodation may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally and direct them to the appropriate parking lot.
Help maximize parking inventory during events and high-volume days by directing guests to individual stalls.
Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicles.
Maintain knowledge of resort offerings and locations, including lodging, dining, shops, mountain recreation, events, and activities.
Provide information about daily opportunities, answer questions, and give directions to venues.
Share Sundance’s land-preservation and environmental commitment when appropriate.
Address disgruntled guests using strong people skills.
Recognize resort-issued lodging and other parking passes and direct guests accordingly.
For lodging check-ins, obtain the guest’s last name and radio the gate house to support a seamless arrival.
Direct guests and employees to appropriate parking areas to prevent congestion and support guest service.
Inform guests of parking rates and help them register their vehicles.
Use a radio to communicate with the base and other vehicles.
Keep parking lots and pathways clean.
Help maintain safe walkways by salting icy patches and shoveling snow.
