About the position
The job overview for the position of Paid Search Analyst at Storable is to manage and optimize paid search, social, and display campaigns to attract potential tenants to the company's Marketplace. The analyst will be responsible for optimizing PPC campaigns, conducting keyword and audience research, maintaining ad copy optimizations, and reporting on campaign performance. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing paid search, social, and display campaigns, familiarity with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms, and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Optimize PPC campaigns based on Google and Microsoft best practices
- Conduct keyword and audience research to expand and refine campaign targeting
- Maintain a regular cadence of ad copy optimizations and experimentation
- Maintain account Standard Operating Procedures: query mining, audience curation, asset coverage, bids/budgets/targets, gap analysis, etc.
- Report on and understand basic KPIs that lead to campaign profitability
- Understand competitors' actions and report on changes to the landscape
- Partner with third party vendor teams to follow and maintain best practices
- Manage and grow the paid search channel across consumer-facing brands
- Meet revenue and ROAS targets
- Have a keen eye for balancing growth and profitability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in paid search
- Have a detail-oriented mentality and focus on the little things that make or break campaigns
- Bring accountability and ownership for your own work
- Comfort around complex data modeling and forecasting
- Familiarity with basic funnel reporting
- Experience working in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with web analytical tools such as Google or Adobe Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with third party management tools like Marin, Skai (Kenshoo) or Adobe Media Optimizer (bonus)
- Experience with Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, or other paid social and display networks (bonus)
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker Studio (Google Data Studio), or other data visualization tools (bonus)
- Experience with tag management tools such as Google or Adobe Tag Manager (bonus)
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience managing paid search, social and/or display campaigns
- Experience in an e-commerce or marketplace vertical
- Comfort around complex data modeling and forecasting
- Hands-on experience working in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms
- Familiarity with basic funnel reporting (impression, click, conversion, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience with web analytical tools such as Google or Adobe Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A detail-oriented mentality who knows that the little things are what make or break campaigns
- Accountability and ownership for your own work
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in paid search
- Experience with more than $1M/month under management (bonus)
- Experience with third party management tools like Marin, Skai (Kenshoo) or Adobe Media Optimizer (bonus)
- Experience with Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, or other paid social and display networks (bonus)
