About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator to generate leads and sell pest-control services to residential customers. The role involves meeting prospective customers at their homes, keeping appointments, following up promptly, and building rapport through networking. Representatives survey homes, prepare estimates, counsel clients on pest-control options, and explain recommended services and their benefits clearly and accurately. Home evaluations may require entering tight spaces such as attics and assessing damage. The position involves working at different locations rather than at a desk, and the company provides a vehicle.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions.
Customer service experience.
Proven sales ability.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Keep scheduled appointments and perform prompt follow-up.
Build rapport and network with prospective residential customers.
Survey homes, prepare estimates, and counsel clients on pest-control options.
Conduct home evaluations, including entering tight spaces such as attics and assessing damage.
Recommend appropriate services and clearly and accurately explain their benefits.
Use the company’s trained sales process to gain new customers.
