About The Position

Hughes Exterminators, part of the Arrow Exterminators family of brands, is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator. The role involves meeting prospective residential customers, keeping appointments, following up promptly, and building rapport through networking. You will survey and evaluate homes, estimate pest-control needs, counsel customers on their options, recommend appropriate services, and clearly explain their benefits. Home evaluations may require entering tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces, and assessing damage. The position involves working at different locations and in varying weather conditions. The company provides training in its sales process and a company vehicle. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are conducted.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions.
Customer service experience.
Proven sales ability.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Keep scheduled appointments and follow up promptly with prospective customers.
Network with potential residential customers and build strong rapport.
Survey and evaluate homes, including assessing pest-related damage in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Estimate pest-control needs and counsel clients on available options.
Recommend appropriate services and explain their benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately.
Gain new customers by conducting inspections and applying the company's sales process.
