About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator to meet prospective residential customers, evaluate homes, and sell pest-control services. The role involves working at different locations rather than sitting at a desk, keeping appointments, following up promptly, and building rapport with potential customers. Representatives survey and estimate pest-control needs, counsel clients about their options, and recommend and explain appropriate services honestly, clearly, and accurately. Home evaluations may involve assessing damage and crawling into tight spaces such as attics. Arrow provides training in its sales process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
Physical ability to remain on one's feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions.
Customer service experience.
Proven sales ability.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Meet prospective residential customers and develop potential business opportunities.
Keep appointments as scheduled and perform prompt follow-up.
Network with potential customers and build rapport.
Survey homes, prepare estimates, and counsel clients on pest-control options.
Conduct home evaluations, including assessing damage and accessing tight spaces such as attics when needed.
Recommend appropriate services and clearly explain their benefits.
Use the company's trained sales process to gain new customers.
