About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking an outside salesperson in Poulsbo, Washington, to sell forklift parts and service packages. The representative serves as a trusted advisor to customers, helping keep their equipment operating at peak performance throughout its lifecycle. The role connects Pape’s Parts and Service Departments with customers who depend on their equipment. This is a relationship-based sales role involving customer needs assessment, tailored recommendations, account management, and collaboration with internal technical teams. Compensation is salary plus commission, with earning potential described as unlimited. Requirements

Self-motivation and a desire to win.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
Experience planning, developing, and executing sales action plans.
Knowledge and experience in material handling equipment parts and service.
Experience using CRM software, sales tracking tools, and basic business reporting.
A driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and serve as a go-to resource for parts and service.
Recommend parts, maintenance, and service packages suited to customer needs and aimed at maximizing equipment uptime and reliability.
Manage accounts proactively, identify opportunities to grow sales, and help customers avoid downtime through preventative care.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to support customer satisfaction and product support.
Plan, develop, and execute sales action plans.
