About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a motivated outside salesperson in Poulsbo, Washington, to sell forklift parts and service packages. The role focuses on serving as a trusted customer advisor and helping ensure equipment operates at peak performance throughout its lifecycle. The representative connects Pape’s Parts and Service Departments with customers who rely on their equipment, building long-term relationships and providing solutions that support uptime and reliability. Compensation is salary plus commission.

Requirements

• Self-motivation and a desire to win.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong customer relationships.
• Experience planning, developing, and executing sales action plans.
• Knowledge of and experience with material handling equipment parts and service.
• Experience working with CRM software, sales tracking tools, and basic business reporting.
• A driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and understand customer needs, becoming a go-to resource for parts and service.
• Recommend suitable parts, maintenance, and service packages to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Manage accounts proactively, identify sales-growth opportunities, and help customers avoid costly downtime through preventative care.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to provide customer satisfaction and product support.
• Plan, develop, and execute sales action plans.
