About The Position

Fiserv is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for its Restaurant Depot field sales team in the Houston, Texas area. The role promotes Clover, Fiserv’s cloud-based commerce and point-of-sale platform, to restaurant owners and other businesses. It is a 100% hunter and field-based sales role that involves initiating in-person conversations, identifying customer needs, demonstrating solutions, and converting prospects into clients. The representative also installs Clover systems and provides hands-on training at client locations. Travel within the Houston area and collaboration with Restaurant Depot locations are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment.
At least 2 years of experience cold calling and prospecting.
At least 2 years of experience independently generating leads.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Reliable transportation.
Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future are not considered.

Nice To Haves

3 years of sales experience.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Proficient technical skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage business owners and restaurateurs at Restaurant Depot through face-to-face conversations, identify their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
Schedule in-person appointments at clients’ restaurants or businesses to demonstrate Clover and explain how it can streamline operations and boost revenue.
Use product knowledge and consultative selling strategies to educate prospects on point-of-sale systems and online ordering platforms, convert leads, and drive sales growth.
Install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training for smooth integration and effective use.
Uphold Fiserv’s ethical standards and foster genuine connections with clients and colleagues.
Travel within the Houston, Texas area and collaborate with Restaurant Depot locations to introduce Clover to restaurant owners.
