About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative Trainee for its 9-month Jumpstart Program. The program provides hands-on experience across the company's sales process, products, services, and lines of business. Training combines classroom instruction, job shadowing, and practical activities, with trainees rotating through the business to learn its offerings and the resources available to the sales team. Successful completion prepares the trainee for a sales career. Candidates must be open to relocation upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be open to relocation upon successful completion of the program.
• Have a bachelor's degree, or an associate degree plus one year of related experience.
• Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate accountability, time-management skills, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
• Current team members must meet service and performance requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Exposure to the construction industry.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language), depending on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 9-month Jumpstart sales training program.
• Learn Sunbelt Rentals' products, services, sales processes, and sales resources.
• Rotate through the company's lines of business to understand their offerings.
• Take part in classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities.
