About The Position

Quality Truck Care Center is seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative to develop and grow outside sales of current and new products. The representative sells, delivers, and picks up parts while providing customers with knowledgeable, tailored parts solutions. The role involves managing a sales territory, serving current customers, developing new business, and supporting order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Quality Truck Care Center is a family-owned and operated company that has served Wisconsin’s trucking industry since 1986.

Requirements

Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, building rapport, and conveying product information.
Time-management and organizational skills to manage a sales territory, plan routes, and balance prospecting with customer service.
A solid understanding of the parts and equipment being sold.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Educate customers about product features and benefits and recommend parts solutions tailored to their needs.
Help customers determine and select appropriate parts, and provide price quotes and other parts information.
Inform customers about specials and companion part requirements and present the full product line.
Identify leads, make sales calls by phone and in person, and convert prospects into customers to grow the sales territory.
Sell, deliver, and pick up parts.
Maintain the parts vehicle and notify the manager of needed repairs or maintenance.
Represent Quality Truck Care Center professionally and interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, courteous manner.
Take parts orders, advise customers about part availability, communicate delivery information, and follow up on orders.
Follow up on back orders.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
Issue credits for returned parts after verifying the purchase and pricing against the original invoice.
Participate in the annual physical inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
