About The Position

Packer City International Trucks is seeking an Outside Salesperson to provide parts to wholesale and fleet customers. The role represents the company at customers’ places of business, addresses parts needs and information inquiries, processes orders, identifies sales opportunities, and sells additional parts and accessories. The position also involves promoting the Parts department and other departments, delivering stock-order parts, and organizing customer visits throughout an assigned territory.

Requirements

• Ability to sit in a vehicle for long durations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Professionally represent the Parts department and identify sales opportunities.
• Increase market share in the assigned territory.
• Call customers weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the size or needs of their fleets.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, flyers, and promotions.
• Provide customer service, including identifying problems and resolving concerns.
• Present new items and services, including promoting all departments.
• Deliver stock-order parts to customer locations.
• Assist with creating sales programs and promotions.
• Organize the assigned territory to maximize customer calls, targeting 65 to 85 calls per week.
