Outside Market Development Specialist-Entry Level Sales - B2B
About The Position
W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time, entry-level outside sales representative to develop an assigned territory and introduce local businesses to the company’s workplace products and services. The role involves meeting prospective clients on foot or by car, learning about their needs, demonstrating products, sharing web tools, presenting custom pricing, and helping new customers get started through MasonvilleGO. The specialist works with inside sales and onboarding teams to transition new accounts and attends regular branch sales meetings. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 annually, with non-commissioned bonus opportunities and additional contest and vendor incentive opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or a similar area.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to converse, read, and write in English.
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Explore an assigned territory and introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason’s products and services.
- Meet with prospective clients, identify their needs, and explain how the company’s workplace products and services can help them.
- Demonstrate products, share web tools, and offer custom pricing.
- Help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO.
- Work with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts are transitioned smoothly.
- Attend regular branch sales meetings.
