Outside Market Development Specialist-Entry Level Sales (B2B)
About The Position
W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time, entry-level outside sales representative to develop business in an assigned territory. The role involves visiting local businesses on foot or by car, introducing them to W.B. Mason’s workplace products and services, learning about their needs, and presenting relevant solutions. Representatives demonstrate products, explain web tools, offer custom pricing, and help new customers get started through MasonvilleGO. They coordinate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts transition smoothly, and attend regular branch sales meetings. The position offers a stated annual pay range of $60,000–$65,000, non-commissioned bonus opportunities, and additional contest and vendor incentive opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related area.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to converse, read, and write in English.
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Explore an assigned territory and introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason’s products and services.
- Meet with potential clients, uncover their needs, and present relevant workplace products and services.
- Demonstrate products, share web tools, and offer custom pricing.
- Help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO.
- Work with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts are smoothly transitioned and supported.
- Attend regular branch sales meetings.
