About The Position
La Gorce Country Club is an exclusive 18-hole private club in Miami Beach. The Outside Operations Staff works as a team to keep the valet and bag drop, practice facilities, bag room, and golf car fleet in exceptional daily condition. The role requires a hard-working, punctual, positive, self-motivated person who communicates well with a broad range of personalities and can quickly learn the operation. An outgoing personality and strong work ethic are important. Golf Outside Operations experience is preferred. The position includes opening and closing duties, welcoming members and guests, supporting the practice facilities and first tee, coordinating with the Golf Shop, maintaining the bag room and cart fleet, assisting with tournaments, and keeping relevant work areas clean and orderly. Responsibilities
- Open and close Outside Operations.
- Provide outstanding service and greet members by name when they arrive at the club.
- Greet members and guests at the valet and bag drop, creating a positive first impression.
- Set up and oversee practice facilities, keeping the range stocked with Pro V1 balls and providing a suitable environment for members to practice.
- Coordinate with the Golf Shop for daily functions.
- Manage the first tee and ensure members and guests are accounted for on the tee sheet.
- Manage the cart fleet.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the bag room.
- Handle members’ and guests’ clubs and keep them clean.
- Monitor and maintain the practice facility.
- Assist with tournament operations.
- Wash and detail the cart fleet as time allows and park the fleet in an orderly manner in the cart barn.
- Keep the bag drop, clubhouse, parking lot, cart barn, and cart wash areas free of trash and debris; maintain trash receptacles throughout the day and empty them at the end of the day.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
